What we collect

When you send a request, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number or email, how you prefer to be contacted, the kind of help you want, where you want to meet, how the session will be paid for, your availability, any access needs you share, and an optional note. Organizations also share their organization name and contact details.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, MassHealth or Medicare ID numbers, passwords, bank details, or medical information. If something that looks like an ID or account number is typed into a note, our system removes it before saving.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request, schedule and provide your session, and follow up with you. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

Requests are stored privately inside this website, visible only to Pivot Point staff with an administrator login, and a copy is sent to our business email. We delete requests when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Reports to sponsors and partners

When an organization sponsors sessions or a program, we report numbers such as sessions completed, referrals made, and confidence ratings. These reports are de identified. We do not share your medical, benefits, or personal details with a sponsor unless you ask us to in writing.

Your choices

  • Ask what information we have about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Stop working with us at any time.

Service limits

Pivot Point provides digital education, technology support, document organization, and referrals. We are not a certified enrollment organization. We do not submit benefit applications for you, decide or predict eligibility, recommend insurance plans, give legal or medical advice, or represent anyone in appeals. When you need those services, we connect you to qualified, authorized providers, many of which are free.

  • Please let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • Online payment is not available yet. We will explain payment options when we confirm your appointment.
