Health and Benefits Navigation
MassHealth and Medicare are changing. You do not have to figure it out alone.
We help you get online, find and understand where your notices are, organize your documents, and connect with the free certified counselors who handle applications and plan choices.
What is changing
These dates come from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. MassHealth says most members will not be affected and will contact the people who are.

Eligibility changes for some immigrants
Some immigrants who are lawfully present in the U.S. stop being eligible for MassHealth.

Every fall
Medicare Open Enrollment
October 15 to December 7 each year is when people with Medicare can review and change plans. SHINE counselors help for free.

Five ways we help
1
MassHealth digital readiness and renewal support
Logging in, finding notices, organizing required documents, tracking deadlines, and getting to an authorized enrollment professional.
2
Senior health technology and caregiver education
Patient portals, telehealth, medication lists, digital appointments, and online safety, with large print guides.
3
Benefits change workshops
Plain language classes on the coverage changes, avoiding gaps in coverage, avoiding scams, and finding free specialist help.
4
Reentry and workforce benefits transition
Digital access, document readiness, and referrals for people leaving incarceration, treatment, or unemployment.
5
Funded outreach for organizations
Outreach calendars, workshops, referral processes, and de identified impact reports. See programs.
Free help is available, and you are welcome to use it
You never have to pay anyone to apply for MassHealth, Medicare, or other public benefits. Free, trained counselors can help you apply and choose coverage. For Medicare questions, SHINE offers free counseling. For MassHealth and Health Connector plans, the Massachusetts Health Connector lists free enrollment assisters. For the 2026 and 2027 MassHealth changes, see official help from Mass.gov.
Pivot Point does something different. We sit with you to use the technology, organize your papers, understand where to look, and get you to the right free expert. If we cannot help, we will tell you who can.
What we do not do
- We are not a certified enrollment organization and do not submit applications on your behalf.
- We do not decide or predict whether you qualify for a benefit.
- We do not recommend insurance plans or give legal advice.
- We do not represent anyone in appeals or hearings.
- We never ask for your Social Security number, passwords, or bank details.
Get started
One on one benefits readiness sessions are $55 per 60 minutes, or free to you when an organization sponsors your visit. Introductory pricing. Rates may change as the service grows; your confirmed price is the one we agree on before your appointment.
